However, the coast of Alicante is close, less than minutes away you can visit emblematic places bathed by the Mediterranean: Altea, L&#8217;Albir, Benidorm, Cala de Finestrat&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: Justify;\">We are going to propose you to cross El Mascarat, passing through the Marina Alta region until you reach J\u00e1vea, in the north of the province, which has almost 30,000 inhabitants. Many foreigners have chosen this Alicante municipality to live in because of its climate and excellent quality of life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: Justify;\">One of its many attractions is the so-called Ruta de los Miradores de J\u00e1vea: a trail along the coastline from Cala Granadella, at the southern end of the municipality of J\u00e1vea, to Cabo de San Antonio, at the northern end.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: Justify;\">How? If it is done on foot, it is almost 30 kilometres overcoming significant slopes and takes approximately 8 hours. It can be done in stages or by car, as you like.<\/p>\n<p>This is the trail of the 15 viewpoints of Javea:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bf63ad6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bf63ad6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>1. La Granadella Forest Park<\/strong> <a style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size ); text-align: var(--text-align); background-color: #f8f8f8;\" href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/RWm59JWaDvqmBTEr8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Location<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We start with one of the best known spots in J\u00e1vea, La Granadella and its forest park, which suffered a terrible fire in September 2016. The observation point is located in the upper part of the Granadella Forest Park, a mountainous area between the Puig de la Lloren\u00e7a and the Cabo de la Nao.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">2. L&#8217;Illa viewpoint<\/strong> <a style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size ); text-align: var(--text-align); background-color: #f8f8f8;\" href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/UA6cDdSqrtzYbyN86\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Location<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Although its views are partially hidden by pine trees that have grown in the lower area, this viewpoint owes its importance to its location above one of the most photographed coves thanks to a house with a white fa\u00e7ade and a large blue door. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Its name comes from the bay and the island (illa in Valencian) of Portitxol. It has been used for centuries as a natural anchorage, and important archaeological sites have been found in its waters.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>  9. Portitxol Cross <\/strong><a style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size ); text-align: var(--text-align); background-color: #f8f8f8;\" href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/viwSHFBdpko4WXtf6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Location<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">As in the previous viewpoint, the pine trees overshadow the marvellous views, but it is nevertheless one of the most emblematic points on the trail.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In low season it is possible to park near this viewpoint.
